Wednesday was a no head humpin day

As the pack started at Hail Mary's they prayed that a hump master would show up to start the hash. Their prayers were unanswered as the hashers had to endure another Brown Eye Girl today is Monday with annoyingly no mistakes, which they had become accustomed to. The hash got some free pub from ASU who sent their best reporter out to scout the hash.

The hares were determined by randomly selecting the last 2 hashers to show up which were I'm Kind of Gay and Nappy Headed Homo. The hares took the hounds through the apparently forbidden parking lot with a security guard heavily armed with a 3rd grade education. Not afraid to use this weapon he yelled at several hashers to stop and then (after pausing for several seconds) told them they better get the hell out of there. Thoroughly confused by this new dilemma Ballztheimers asked the smartest man alive to please start shooting. Again confused by the latest comment, and running over to a 4th grader to ask him for the number to 911, the guard finally called the po-po. Ballztheimers relentlessly asking him to shoot someone was thoroughly disappointed with the lack of gun fire.

Luckily the hares took the pack into a safe area where no one would be suspicious�over a wall and into a gated no trespassing area. The security guard apparently had no problem with this. The pack eventually snared the hares in the dead center of 3 other security guards�one driving around in his not so scary white mini van with which was rumored to have his wife and kids in it watching Dora.

The po-po finally caught up to the pack and with a smile on his face asked �Are you guys that running group I keep hearing so much about?� After saying yes and asking if he wanted to join in the run, the cop laughed at the �dangerous� security guards and had no idea what crime was committed by running through a parking lot.

With a fresh set of hares the hash continued through the streets and apartment complexes of Tempe. Losing trail a couple of times and then not knowing if they were even heading the right direction on the trail, the hounds finally found their way back through the security free zone and over one more fence and then a zen back to the bar.

Trail itself was slightly more than one hour due to the bar closing at 10:00 and the kitchen closing at 9:30. Not to worry, the hash made it back in plenty of time to booze it up and to drink it on down. The on after did bring back a transplanted hasher from Boise�at least for a couple nights�Rabbid Transit.

Heifer put on the show this week at the hump! Being Halloween, he pulled out all the stops at the dollar store and brought glowly stuff, candy and even costumes for the hares! He even managed to pull off "Today is Monday" perfectly and at mind blowing speeds!
Use Her an Loser celebrated her 50th Hump, officially making her the first Non Head-master to accomplish this dubious honor. To help her celebrate the deed, we made her hare and gave her Fist to help out.

A couple new virgins this week including Just Geneve (who found us through the Phoenix Womens article that was written about us a few weeks back), Just Vince and possibly the re-virginated Just Steve, who claims to have hashed with us several years ago. Make sure you have them slap your ass and call you Sally next time you see them.

Trail was good! We only lost 2 or 3 and really took over the wide open spaces of North Scottsdale! Out Of Order and Ugly Naked Guy(?) took over from the original hares and led us on a tour of great walls to jump over, Ballz and Luuuger took over from them and led everybody through the Princess Hotel and Wacij and Just Colin(?) took over from there and led everybody on the golf course death march back to the bar. Did about 5.69 miles all told. You would think after 50 Humps UHAL would manage to stay on trail but not so much - we lost here early!. Also, as is the norm, we lost Bridgette. Hard to say if he ever found his way home but we wish him all the best!

Only sad news to report is for the first time in Hump history we will be dark 2 weeks running! Next week is Mis-Management with the nail-biter of Mis Management erections (watch the teeth please!) and the week following is a full moon! Sniff, Sniff! We will resume November 19th at Hail Mary's in Tempe! See you at the fun run next week!

Well - in what seems to be a rare event, we were actually asked to cume have our run at Mardi Gras by the owner Jeff. Really great guy who took care of the "hole" pack with jello shots! We finally made it outside, took a picture or 3 and sent our our perma-hare My Clit Talks and Shafter Burner off to lay trail. Everybody introduced themselves including 3 virgins, Just Jess, Just Brian, and Just Kimberly - Brought by Just Colin (who knew he talked to such cute girls!), one was in jeans and heels and still gung-ho to try out trail and just Brian is a marine who ran in camo and boots! Make sure to give em a slap and tickle when you see em!!

I f'd up "Today is Monday" of course and we set off to find trail. Big Mistake. We got to the first check, which was literally on the corner of the bar and were lost. I have come to the conclusion that Hashers from Japan never find trail. Either that or they have some ancient skill that allows them to feel the trail rather than follow marks, cause the marks they put down will lose even the most seasoned of packs! (see IKOG, Cockwork Orange and now add Shafter Burner for examples!) We looked in every direction for 15 minutes. Nothing. We ran down every street, covered every direction, still nothing. I finally decided to take a "Fugitive" look at things and covered every outhouse, doghouse and whorehouse in a half mile direction and finally bumped into some trail up on Hayden. Ran back to grab the pack and finally herded them towards the trail segment I found. Of course we didn't know which direction we were going so the pack split in two at the first check. Half going back towards the start and half moving the right direction. I went back again to sweep the ones who went the wrong way only to find no one. By the time I got to about a half mile away from the bar on true trail, I had already run over 3! The trail crossed Hayden but Victor swore the trail dead ended so most of the remaining group that was with us went back to the bar, only leaving Ballzheimers, IKOG and Bush Yakker to follow trail (which was actually pretty clear once we passed Hayden.)
I turned around (having been sick and not wanting to get sicker) and bumped into Clit and Shafter back by the bar. Nappy came, out of nowhere, and grabbed the bag and hared the last 25 feet to the bar. Turns out a good portion of the pack had actually found trail and was in front of the group that thought it was FRB. We all got back to the bar and I made Shafter Burner show me where the trail went after the first mark.....let's just say that in broad daylight, with a pack of 40, the Phoenix hash would have NEVER found his clearly placed mark, which was 300 - 400 feet from the check on someone's driveway, which you got to by walking 30 feet across their gravel front yard. (to his credit, it was under the only light on a very dark street!) Again, Zen masters, those Okinawan hashers!

We got off to a late start as everyone was enjoying the Mexican beer specials. BEG shared his naming story with a virgin who proceeded to run to her car screaming in horror. (I think she left black marks on the pavement as she pulled out of the parking lot.) Just Annie showed up last, so she and Nappy took off into the night. HBFU managed to lead the group through Today is Monday with no mistakes. It's a hump first!

The hares zig zagged through the neighborhood that led the pack right past HBFU and BEG's house, laying a C3 (we think they meant CB3) right in front of their neighbor's home. Just Colin and BEG, knowing the neighborhood, were "short cutting" and ended up well in front of the pack. The trail went through several NON 90 degree angle streets and eventually led to a check with a YBF and nothing else. A mere block later there was one lonely check which finally told the pack that they were on. Down the street and through the wash the pack went which finally led to a song check near Fry and 48th Street. Sure that the hares wouldn't head into Pecos Park, since there is only one way in and out, what was left of the group led by HBFU stood baffled for several minutes before deciding to call it a night and head back to the bar. Only faithful BEG, Just Colin, Strawberry Shortcock and Bush Yakker actually followed trail, which led to a very high and sharp wall which wounded Shortcock and progressed into a death march run along the edge of 202/Pecos down to 40th Street. The hares were never snared, and the group reconvened for more Mexican brew and good eats back at the bar.

Well, we did it again, hump that is. A gang of 22, including some old timers like repeat Offender who we haven't seen in awhile and a a freshly healed Sober Bi Gay who is ambulatory (big word!) again, helped us explore a neighborhood we hadn't Humped in before. Blow Ho, who hashed in Oregon and looks to fit right in here, came for the first time (at a hump) and we also got a new transplant in the form of Cold Cuts. Make sure to give them the rusty trombone and say hi next time you see them....

At chalk talk, Heifer of course screwed up "Today is Monday" - we all do - and the pack took off in search of well, something. Fist and Repeat stayed behind to finish a beer and promised to cum for us later...

Clit (perpetual Hare) and Ballzheimers (made hare because he paid his hash cash in nickels) promptly split and did pretty good until they got separated and we caught Clit. She, of course, handled her separation calmly and with the grace we have all become so accustomed to, only spouting the f bomb about 12 times in front of the families out for an early evening stroll on the greenbelt...

Ballz kept on trucking, running us through cemeteries and near a house fire, only to finally give up and wait for us near a dumpster at Fry's.
Nappy Headed Homo and I (Luuuger) took over and butchered the trail almost instantly. We laid a check back 4 that made you jump a wall, except no one jumped and then tied ourselves in a knot in a parking garage and ended up boxing ourselves in because of a fenced in community with a cop car on the other side of the fence. Most of the pack had given up on us at the CB and the remaining humpers just said screw it and we walk/ran the .5 miles back to the bar.I figure about 5.69 miles total...

Good Times. With pack back up to full strength. We owned this little part of Phoenix we know so well! Usually starting further South, we found ourselves in new territory to get our hash on. After a few frosty ones in the bar, the pack came outside to get movin. Apparently Nordic and I were last on the list even though Clit showed up while I was drawing Chalk Talk! We took our lumps and head(!)ed off on trail. A couple newish faces joined us including the new transplants Inspector Snatchit and Shafter Burner. Performance Anxiety also ran her first hash while named!

As Hares, we like to think we did a fabulous job (all hares do) by throwing in a few Check Backs and a Song Check or three. We almost got snared when we ran into a dead end, and escaped by the skin of our teeth. We finally got snagged in an office building. I had hidden in the bushes, and while a large part of the pack had congregated 15 feet from me, I just hid my flour bag under my arm, stood up, turned around and walked a away like I was looking for trail. And I would have got away with it too If it wasn't for Just Dinah who I bumped into one on one...my Jedi mind tricks apparently don't work on her...

Once we were all together, Just Dinah, new boot Just Mike and Mount 'N Spread (who went along to help out) took over and led us away. We ran for a bit (all of us worried MNS would ZEN back to the bar like only she can) but they led us on a decent trail, only to get caught in an apartment building because they got seperated from each other.

Brown Eye and Ugly Naked Guy took over and led what was left of us (I would say about 15) on what we all thought would be an 8 mile death march, but turned into the perfect finish, ending at about 6+/- miles. We all got back to Pomeroy's to get our grub and pub on! Unfortunately we found out that Just Jess will be leaving us in a few short weeks as her job is taking her to L.A. (get those naming hats on!) MNS also got some foot models together for her extensive collection of Toe Ring Hash Jewelry (PLUG!)

What's The Age Of Consent In Japan (WACIG)

The pack was anxious to head out, so no one went into the bar for a pre run beverage (despite HBFU's efforts to coax them in). A quick chalk talk and the hares, Bookmark for being last and Victor Victoria just because, were off. After a false start with Father Abraham, Hef led the group in a rousing rendition of Father Birmingham and the pack was off. The pack never got more than about 1/2 a mile from the bar as many loops were made through the neighborhoods. The first set of hares were snared in a trench, and BEG and Flamer were "it". BEG dropped Flamer like a cheap date at the first check, ran back across Alma School for our ever popular game of human Frogger and laid a couple of song checks by fast food drive thrus. BEG was snared in front of Chili's and Ugly Naked Guy and Just Dave basically lost the pack, as everyone for the most part zenned back to Dos Gringos.

HBFU insisted that we not allow Just Anna to head off to DEA boot camp in Virginia without naming her so the Phoenix hash would not be shamed in allowing someone to hash with them for almost a year and not name them. Now, Anna is a quiet gal, but the pack learned a few interesting tid bits during her interrogation (something about oral sex, golf course sprinkler shenanigans, grooming preferences, etc). Smallest group so far this year, but lots of cumings and goings and was a pretty fun trail!
It pretty much looked like it was going to be boys night out with Just Jess as the fairer sex's lone representative, but finally we were joined by our last 3, Allofher Fist, U-Hal and of course DFL, the long lost My Clit Talks! We also have a new transplant from DC, Inspector Snatchit - make sure to "check his oil" and say hi when you see him.
Allofher and Clit took to haring, Heifer butchered "Today is Monday" a la Luuuger style, and we took off. Fun little trail until we had to jump a fence in a car dealership and everyone got lost. Heifer had to "spolish the pickle" and head(!)ed back to the privacy of his car. Somehow, we all managed to find trail by way of 10 different routes and collect into a group! It was now fun again!

As we crossed near Salty Senoritas, I swear I saw someone beg a beverage from the sidewalk off of someone who was sitting on the patio. Nice work! We finally found the hares who were waiting for us near Gold's Gym. We chatted up 3-4 people who wandered by to figure out what the hell we were doing.

Brown Eye and Book Mark took off and hared us across the freeway East. This is where I can only tell you about my experience as I got seperated from the pack.....I had been running with Just Jess and she found trail. I thought she head(!)ed South and figured to shortcut. Apparently she went North. I ran for at least 6.9 miles South until I realized I was screwed and tried to longcut back the right direction. I finally found trail, which dumped into a storm drain that was about 4 feet wide and 10 feet tall. This thing went forever. It finally gave me a choice of up and out or a tunnel that was about 5'6" tall. Of course the trail went into the tunnel. Now, the whole time I am thinking of different ways to kick the crap out of the hares - neither of which are from AZ and understand that while really f'n cool, this is about the worst place the pack could be at this moment.

This moment would be in the middle of a brewing monsoon with lightning strikes everywhere. That tunnel wasn't perfectly clean because somebody came through and swept it with a broom. No here in AZ mother nature likes to use a really big hose!! So like all the idiots somewhere in front of me, I ran through this pitch black tunnel that was easily 1000 feet of twist and turns with my head ducked, (always bring your headlight!) waiting to be washed back out the way I came when 10,000 gallons of water from the entire city of Scottsdale is pushed through this little hole. It finally came to an end and spit me out into an office complex. I missed the check at the street corner, went North on a false trail and ended up running down the frontage road of the 101 till I got to Frank Lloyd Wright and back to the bar.

At our return to the bar we discovered Sober Bi Gay had stopped bi with some girl "friends" and Open Festering Pusshole and Rabid Transit finally made it, after getting a flat on their way there for Rabid's final Hump before relocating back to Boise. I gave him his well earned lanyard and a pat on the ass. Good luck RT, hope we see ya soon! It was now pouring outside and in rolls IKOG soaking wet and fresh from the tunnels. He had shown up typically late and ran the trail alone, only to be led astray by my marks at the office complex where I got lost! Hey, a pack arrow just means that someone went that way, not that it was right!

21+ showed up to enjoy Peanuts and beer this week at Teakwood's. Outside of the crappy service (we are used to that wherever we go, we must stink or something). The food and beer was pretty damn good. Tortoise Coitus and transplant to Phoenix, Drag Queen, showed up but didn't run. HBFU led the start, with a little help from the rest of us of course. It is getting dark early and the sun was setting as we started. Nordic and Bush Yakker led the way but petered out after a mile or so and were waiting for us. Heifer and Ballzheimers arrived first and tried to hide but were snitched out and forced to take over haring duties. Then the trouble began...We ran for another mile or two, only to come across a check at the end of an alley facing lots of undergrowth and railroad tracks. We searched in the darkness with maybe 5 flashlights, but the only two trails we could find were both marked YBF. After searching for 20 minutes, the pack splintered into 4-5 parts and everybody was scattered to the wind. Eventually a pink, pack-laid trail was found and most everybody followed it back to the bar. Turns out Ballz and Heifer both laid a false trail each, thinking the other was laying true, and never saw each other until they got back to the bar, leaving the pack completely stranded 1.5 miles from the ON-IN. Truly, the shitiest trail ever laid on a Hump! Congrats!

Well it has been a few days since the Hump so my memory is fuzzy and I will make this brief! Rabid showed up, donated a 12 pack of Natural Light to the Hump � still collected his 1$. Pink and Luuuger were hares. Ran for a bit, found a Bag Piper practicing in a tunnel under the golf course = cool! Ran some more, got snared. Just Liz (Virgin) was handed a water bottle filled with flour by Pink and took a BIG sip thinking it was water. Promptly spit out the flour and water at Pink. Threats of a naming ensued. BBAG and Nappy Headed Homo took over haring. Good trail followed. Turned into long humid death march = typical hash. Got back to Zipps after 5-6 miles (depending on who's GPS you believed) Ballzheimers and Nappy discovered 2 40 oz's in the cooler. Everyone drank the Natural Lights. Unnamed masses sent into the bar. Named hashers tried to name a few people, weren't drunk enough. Gave up and went into bar to drink more.

Well we finally did it! We set a new Hump record for attendance! 28 sullied souls came out to run around Tempe and drink a beer or 3! Little Dinghy showed up for drinks, but when he found out he could break the record, ponied up his $1 to become #28! He apparently pulled something during "Today is Monday" and wasn't able to run, however. We had two new hashers join our ranks, Nappy Headed Homo a transplant from the bay area(?) and Just Leilani who is a transplant from Long Beach. Make sure to give 'em a wave and a grope next time you see them!

We made our way out of Bison Witch's to the chalk talk...did the whole speal and then gave IKOG and Nappy the honors of haring. Managed to sing "Today is Monday" properly. I think the fact that we were standing 20 feet from a mosque aided my concentration. I am sure they were very pleased. Someone noticed that mixed in with the water there were a few beers in the cooler and a melee ensued! Too bad there were 28 hashers and only 5 beers! Just Jackie managed to guilt Luuuger into giving her his Busch Beer only to drop it when it was tossed to her, turning perfectly good free beer into foam. Boos followed. As we all introduced ourselves, Just Anna was a bit pissy that she was still "Just Anna" (she has attended 9 Humps) - Problem with that girl is she just attends to sporadically! Be careful what you wish for!

IKOG and Nappy ran us all over hell and back and jumped over every fence in Tempe. Over, under, through and around, we made our way. They didn't ever lose us on trail too bad and we all made it back to the bar in record time (8:15 pm I think!) after a mere 4.69 miles. We all still agreed however, the trail sucked. They always do...

Some idiot planned a Hump, in downtown, while a baseball game AND something at the Orpheum was going on! Who the hell would do that? I think it must have been HBFU, but don't look to me to point the finger (besides you never know where it's been)! Well we collected 19 Humpers plus a reporter from Phoenix Woman magazine at McCaffrey's. The soon-to-start game and happy hour crowd was wedged us into the back of the joint, but somehow we made do as the beer kept flowing. Outside we went, where Luuuger and HBFU ran everybody through the basics and then Luuuger and Brown Eye took off to lay trail. I hear tell that HBFU skipped the traditional "Today is Monday" (all the grrrls seemed a bit shy around our intrepid reporter) and instead did a few verses of "I used to work in Chicago". BEG and Luuuger wound around town a bit, (dropping by Luuugers's car to drop off the clipboard) only to be snared by Out of Order and Bridgette at Chase Field. Apparently our reporter had dropped out after 500 yards - she had come wearing jeans, and Pink was mighty proud to have run someone into the ground! Some interesting (eh-hem) trail marks ensued, with parallel trails running on both sides of the road, arrows going in multiple di-erections with no check and a package and boob check at the same intersection. We were finally led down the railroad tracks near the stadium, only to be told by security guards that we were trespassing. Pre Cum's reply was best that maybe next time they should try marking that a little better as there were no signs (not like that would have changed anything!)

We kept on for a bit until we had to jump over or squeeze through a 10 foot fence, with cops waiting on the other side. Apparently, they were infinitely less worried about our crimes and after talking to a few of the FRB's, forgave us our trespasses - as we should forgive those who trespass against us! A few stragglers who were scared off by the rent-a-cops reconnected with the pack and BEG and Pre Cum took over. We then continued to make friends with a whole new group of security guards in a parking structure not 50 feet from where the first group got their panties in a bunch. Apparently our chalk markings were to blame and after a tongue lashing by Victor on the wanker-ness of their attitude, the gaggle of rent-a-wrecks proceeded to spit on our marks in an effort to erase them from existence....

Being as downtown is on a grid, (damn you grid) it wasn't long before the hares were spotted by Just Jess(ica) and Luuuger who promptly snared BEG and ran a bit with him to get Pre Cum. Just Jess and Luuuger ran for what may be the shortest Haring ever as they circled too close to a false trail they had laid and were snared almost immediately. Just Curt and Just Mike took over and finished us into the bar for a bit of so-so food and a few warm beers.

They led us on a nice little trail until they too were snared - by the walkers! Guess that's another good reason to not cross trail - or cum anywhere near the old one! Rabid ran up the side of the mountain alone for no particular reason - other than allow us to mock him for his competitive behavior. Pre-Cum and Heiferfearzen took over and led us all through some washes and a tunnel or two that turned into super-spiky-shiggy lost-trail hell. Don't ask me how, but someone, somehow, eventually found trail (required jumping a chain link fence or two) which head(!)ed back to the bar. Grand total of mileage: 3 miles.

Well it was hot, and it felt like more than 3 miles, but some jackass made a comment about playing the "back 9" and of course yours truly is stupid enough to take them up on the offer. So I grabbed the bag and Virgin Just Jessica volunteered to cum with. We set off and laid another 3+ miles of trail in the other di-erection for those stupid enough to follow. We laid trail as best we could, knowing that it was dark and nobody had flashlights. We eventually had to cross trail and of course, got snared for our stupidity. We actually caught up tp the rest of the pack. Someone saw us from a distance and asked if we were on, to which I replied "Checking!" - maybe I shouldn't have chosen that exact moment to lay flour with the tennis ball. Cherry Picker was there from the start but couldn't run.

Fun, fun, fun! The weather blessed us with an overcast afternoon, allowing the 27 (an attendance high for this year and tying the all time record set on 9/12/07) of us a respite from the searing heat! Finally doing his duty (I said duty!), Luuuger finally handed out name badges to everyone who earned them months ago. After giving chalk talk, Luuuger and Brown Eye Girl volunteered to hare leaving 'Today is Monday' and introductions in the capable hands and mouth of the Head(!)Mistress HBFU. The hares ran this week's Humpers through multiple adjacent check-backs, alleys and neighborhood fun. All this culminated in a surprise beer check at Luuuger's friend JD's house (Fuck JD!) at mile 3.69. A few poor bastards gave up blocks away to head back to the bar - If only they had known the sweet nectar was mere feet away!

At the house, Just Sue (virgin) managed to lie down on an obviously broken, foldable cot for a bit of rest - one set of legs were stuck in the wrong position. Somehow, in collapsing the whole thing and falling to the ground on it, she actually managed to force the mal-adjusted legs into the correct position and fix it! I am pretty sure there is a name in there somewhere.

Pre Cum and Beat By A Girl then took over haring duties and led the pack through the more ghetto-ish parts of the hood. The whole pack had to be hijacked back from Mount 'n Spread who was quietly zen-ing the pack back to the bar - I swear that woman can't be trusted with a trail! After a particularly ugly CB, the pack found itself faced with climbing a 12 foot wall behind Wal-Mart at Thomas (I wonder who's idea that was, BBAG?) Trying to be nice, your humble Head(!)Master brought a stray shopping cart to the wall to get a bunch of stranded Humpers off, of it, only to drop it on his big toe! I ended up going to Steer Queer's house Thursday so he could do some minor surgery and melt a hole in my toenail to let out the pressure! Thank G for medically inclined hashers!

We finally returned to the bar to find lots of hungry, hungry hashers (shortcutting bastards!) munching away on Luuuger's Pulled (My) Pork and Pole Slaw. The rest of the pack arrived after a total of 6.3 miles and the eating and the drinking commenced in earnest and good times were enjoyed by all.

Well as happens every year, the hotter it gets, the more Humpers we get! This week we pulled 26! The trail was extra hot and extra long, just like me! Well anyway, this week we had so many hares, we were starting to think everyone was gonna get a chance. Bookend and Luuuger started off (even though Just Mike and Clit were the last two there) and promptly got separated and then run down by Pre-Cum, who blew through as many checks as he blows through guys at the glory hole on a busy Saturday night. Precum took over with Just Colin. The pack caught up in time to watch Clit cross a busy intersection, diagonally, almost getting hit 3 times so she could put her plastic bottle in the recycling bin across the street. We need to get her a bumper sticker that reads "Save the Earth, Kill Yourself!" We crossed the 51 for the first time (the hares were nice enough to use a bridge) and Just Mike and Luuuger ended up catching the hares in a park after the rest of the pack wandered obliviously by them. From there, many Zen'd back to the bar but the pack was still pretty strong and resisted the urge. Just Mike wanted to take a potty break before he hared, but was informed that he would just have to do that on trail and Luuuger and him head(!)ed off. (Too bad we already know a Piss Boy) Quickly snared by Clit and Bridgette, we were happy for the break. Figuring Clit would make a beeline straight for her house and pool which was nearby, the pack went south. Unfortunately we lost trail and lost a good portion to the call of the zen. This was mile 6. Ballzheimers and Just Collin finally caught the hares , who were lost themselves, and hared back to the bar. No GPS on trail but most agree we ran 8.69 miles. HBFU and Brown Eye Girl Pulled up the rear.

Well this last Wednesady we revisted Harvey's Wineburger, at which we chased away all the regulars on a Friday Night Full Moon Hash. As always, the service was good, the beer cheap, and the place was a shithole. Perfect for hashers!

We started trail with a merry crew of 17. A couple of new folks, including Victor Victoria's Virgin daughter (Hubba, Hubba Kelly!) and Just Dinah. As I walked with Hubba Hubba and B-flat, I commented that B-flat was Canadian. Of course B-Flat informed me she was English, to which I replied, in front of V2's daughter, "Yea, but you've had a lot of Canadian in you" - thus another reason not to bring, well, anyone you know to the hash! Luuuger tried to execute the ever complicated "Today is Monday", but failed after saying "Today is Monday". Ah, someday we will get it on the first try!

Your faithful Head(!)master had to split after only a mile, so from here on it, I leave it to Brown Eye to 'splain as only he can what happened next!

As first set of hares (shockingly My Clit Talks and Mount N Spread) were snared, and kept going for a while, by Out Of Order and Victor Victoria which took us over the 51 freeway with a plethera of package and boob checks inches away from each other. Checks were a major source of confusion throughout. There were checks laid on top of boob checks, Mount 'N Spread was hare for the second time and along with Just Curt, took the pack through a neighborhood where the HOA gave a 75% discount for having a large killer dog in the back yard.

The final hares, Blade Runner and Wanker Cockwork Orange, took the reigns and led the hounds down the road to a beautiful purple check, the pack then went through the park and over ponds and through out office buildings until they came upon Highland again. The only problem was that the pack had been following nothing in particular and at this point had no idea where the trail was, but they did know where it was going. In another mind-bending shocker, Mount N Spread decided to zen back to the bar and 93% of the pack followed. Brown Eye Girl and Out of Order were able to snare the hares on Camelback and run with them back to the delicious wine burgers and fries that awaited them at Harvey's.

Cum Again? was given a Happy Birthday, Fuck You!!! ceremony and sucked on it for hours.

Wednesday was a humpin’ day as the DFL arrivers (which for once did not include a clit or a spread) I’m Kind of Gay and Out of Order were deemed hares and pranced away. Bitch N’ Hoe once again tried to rile up the hounds with “Today is Monday”, but once again found her tripping on her own mmmummmu day. The Out of Order / Gay hares took the pack through a blitzkrieg of checks and by YBFs. The initial hares were snared in the balls of diamonds and dead-beat, cheap-ass wanker Beat by a Girl and Salt Around the Rim grabbed the bags and forced the hounds over a security wall onto the Cardinals practice facility. Not knowing who these “Cardinals” were, the hares questioned the security guard who claimed to be on the phone with the cops. The pack scattered and let the hares go a good 4 feet before some of the pack took off after them. Across the parking lots and through the Tempe Rock Gym went the pack as the hares were snared again by the one deemed Kind of Gay. Making the mistake of going anywhere close to the road where the bar was the last hare lost all but 3 hounds to the brainwash of the beer-zen. “Virgin” Just Jeff supplied racist gear from the Ironman to give to the Hares.

Last Wednesday, we found ourselves at Lagerfield's near PV Mall. MNS and O3 were characteristically late so they got to be the hares. We ran through parking lots and golf courses (in Phoenix? Imagine that!) and found ourselves circling across trail when Bridgette and Finger Pickin Good took over (another big suprise!). Luckily for one of our virgins, Just Chris, Cherry Picker and B-Flat pulled up the rear and found him on trail. God only knows what they did to him. Eventually BEG and Pre Cum led us back to the bar, skipping the cool joy that is A/C inside the mall. To make up for this transgression, yours truly decided to long-cut through the mall. Nothing like running by security at a nice clip! I only wish there had been 20 of us just to watch him try and catch us! We got back to the bar and completely ignored Blade Runner, who had made it so painfully obvious it was his birthday, and Allofher Fist, who didn't say a peep about hers! Great turn out this week at Mardi Gras with the added bonus of a few "old-timers" showing up! One of the first Humps in a long time where we had no visitors or "Just's" - either we have scared them all off or wore them all down! Nice & fun (depending on your point of view) trail - about 7 miles. Of course being chased through a graveyard by security/the police always makes the miles go by quicker....To start us off, Bitch sang us a song (Today is Monday) and the owner liked us so much he gave us all a free jello shot to start off our run! We had 6 hares - MnS being one because she showed up late again.... we need to figure out how to address the always-late Clit, since she always seems to show up AFTER we choose hares....maybe gorilla down-downs need to be added to the hump!

Last week, the hash met at the Red Owl only to learn that the establishment doesn't open until 7 (what kind of bar and grill doesn't open until 7?). After much razzing of hare raiser HBFU, the ingeneous pack hoofed it over to the liquor store for a 6 pack or 2 to tide them over before the run. With the new Soggy Biscuit rule (really just a guideline) where the wanker who shows up last (at the time of choosing the hares) becomes hare (the bar wasn't open and we had no straws), User and Loser reluctantly took up the flour bag and Iggy joined her as co-hare. After they departed, Little Pink, My Clit Talks and Alcoholiday, who chose Phoenix to kick off his his year long hash around-the-world-sebatical from Starbucks, arrived, followed by the ever late IKOG. HBFU, having decided it wouldn't be very good to take off without the visitor who was changing his clothes in the now open bar, held the pack back a few extra minutes, so the hares had an extra long head start.

The pack was off through the lovely crack neighborhoods of Tempe. Unable to get past the watchman standing guard over the trailer park, the pack backdoored it through a construction entrance and was back on the trail. After emerging from the construction lot, the hares were caught by Bridgette and Just J, so we knew we were screwed. The walkers decided to zen for the bar. Sure enough, the hares headed straight north after a brief detour in front of a packed Four Peaks brewery (and we didn't get to stop!) and ended up back on the trail from two weeks ago's San Felipe hump. the hares were captured on the corner of McClintock and University, and the pack decided at that point to zen to the bar themselves.

Upon arrival at the bar, $2 PBR's were discovered with the news that at 9 there were NICKEL draws of Miller Lite. Needless to say, much beer and food were consumed by all. Where else can you get 20 beers for a buck?

Well we had all the peanuts you could eat, oh, and a great hump as well! BnH sorta taught us a new song about sticking your finger in a wood pecker hole, (Oh, your suppose to use your finger!) and then we sang "Today is Monday" - our official hump warm-up song. Of course since we have changed up the days to make Wednesday a humpin day, (M=wanking, T=2 finger, W=humpin, TH=her favorite, F=drinking, S=hashing, Su=rest) it will forever confuse everyone. Sweet! Also newly minted Tortose Coitus showed off her brand new hash name on a spiffy new necklace, complete with turtle charm. BEG was suppose to be MIA but instead said he wouldn't be ther next week....sure.....

Mount N' Spread lead the way (after a pretty normal amount of whining - to be fair, we did give her a good amount of shit about, well everything) as hare with a great (I mean shitty!) trail, and Luuuger and BEG hared to the end. Well we had a great time at our 69th Hump! 22 hashers showed up to get in on some 69 action. Unlike most Humps, we had beer(!) and a circle(!) at the end of what turned out to also be the shortest hump in the history of Humpin! The hares spooked by the fast closing pack, decided after 2.5 miles to head(!) back to the bar pronto. We voted and decided that rather than make the car a BN, it would be our ON-IN. Circle was fun with lots of jokes, good and bad, songs sung without melody, gimmies including gynological tools like one-use speculums, disposable underwear, pregnancy tests and light up whistles that would have given Dumbo a 3-day hard-on - even without goth inspired kiddie-porn! We had 3 visitors (2 from the frigid north, Dirty Dancer and Mouthful from Calgary and 1 from the balmy South, Mister Rogers (Won't you be my flamer?) from Carolina). We also welcumed a new hasher to Phoenix by the name of Frankenfucker. Say hi when you see him! On the plus side, I think I have decided that since the Phx Hash ends with Swing Low, and the Full Moon ends with My Name Is Jack, The Hump's official new song is: Today is Monday! (sung our way of course - Wednesday is a humpin day!)

Lots of fun last week as we did the Kilt thing, up north again. Basically lots of parking lots, walls, gated comuni-tities and loss of dignity on trail. Important side notes include:

iii) I found some Champion Dri-fit type tshirts at Cost-co for $10 each. With some coupons we won at a non-hash event, I think I may be able to get them printed up and sellable as Hump d' hash shirts for $15 - $20 a shirt.
