12 Anal'versary Luau

Details: We will start assembling at the start starting at 4:30pm with hare away no later than 5:30.

Start Location is: Mountain View Community Center and Park, 1104 East Grovers, Phoenix, AZ 85022 (NE corner of 9th Street and Grovers). Grovers is halfway between Bell (south) and Union Hills (north). 9th Street is between 8th and 10th. From any direction, exit the Loop 101 at 7th St. and head(!) south 1.69 miles to Grovers (3rd light). Turn Left or East and go just past the first stop sign and turn into the park.

The trail will be A to B and will end at the 20th Luau celebration. Being as hot as it will probably be, there will be several beverage stops on trail. Cash and ID on trail will be needed as we may duck out of the sun for a bit. There will be one hare and one trail of moderate length and difficulty.

Circle will be held at the B site as will the Luau.

• Things to bring are:

• Water bottle for trail - water and Gatorade will be provided (beer also!)
• Small folding chair - with over 80 peeps coming, I'm a few chairs short. You can bring a seat or sit on grass.
• Swim attire - or not! Up to you. This is a private residential pool.
• Sleeping gear - sleeping bags, air mattresses, tents and whatever you need to overnite if staying.

Hopefully everyone will make arrangnments to get home safely. Crash space will be available. I know some people have rides, some hotels, and some will just drink till somebody wakes up and drives them home. If this is not you and you plan on drinking, we will make room for you. Crash space will be available.
