The Phoenix Hash has been supporting the Crown King race for over 20 years now, and we’re doing it again. We’ll be manning the aid station at Fort Misery, which is at mile 22.
We’ve won Best Aid Station 6(.9) years running, and we’re gonna take it again!
We need to have the station up and running by 8 am, which is why we camp out on Friday night.
In addition to regular race-ist fare, we will also provide an open bar!
IMPORTANT NOTE!!! You MUST have a HIGH CLEARANCE 4×4 vehicle to get to this location.
We’ll be camping out on Friday night, supporting the event on Saturday from about 7am to 1pm, then camping Saturday night as well.
So bring your camping gear, and let’s coordinate alcoholic beverages to provide for the runners and for ourselves.
If you don’t have a high clearance 4×4 but still want to help out, we’ve got room in vehicles, or you could be a whackadoodle like Bitch Commander and run down the nine miles from Crown King itself to the aid station (and back up again!)
